We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual IP address as well as aggregated basis.
We use cookies for our shopping cart, and to remember users' settings. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some features or areas of our site may be limited.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers, we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, referring/exit pages, platform type, and date/time stamp. We may share the aggregated demographic or statistical information that could identify our affiliates or clients. This is not tied to, nor does it include personal information.
Service Announcements
On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service-related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we would need to send our clients/affiliates an email. Generally, clients may not opt-out of these communications. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.
Customer Service
We communicate with our clients on a regular basis to provide requested services. In regard to issues relating to their account, we reply via email or phone in accordance with the client's wishes.
Links
This Web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we, Global Fintech Forum, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites, including affiliate's sites that we host. We encourage our clients to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personal information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site.
Security
This Website takes every precaution to protect our clients' information. When our clients submit sensitive information via the Website, their information is protected both online and off-line.
When our registration form asks our clients to enter sensitive information (such as checking account number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked or open, when our clients are just 'surfing'.
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect client information. All of our clients' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personal information. ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our clients' information is protected. Finally, the servers that store personal information are in a secure environment -- in a locked facility.
Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information
If an affiliates/client's personal information changes (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if you no longer desire our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate clients' personal information. This can usually be done by emailing our Customer Support.
Data Retention
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us at support@GlobalFintechForum.com. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our clients are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances (if any) we disclose it prior to the change becoming effective.
If, however, we are going to use affiliates/clients' information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify clients by communicating with them pursuant to our contracts with them prior to the change becoming effective.
